RENTAL PERIOD: The minimum rental period is 1 day with a period from 8:30 to 20:30 after the end of the hour the tenant will be charged for at least one full rental day. The extra daily cost depends on the period of the rental and the category of the car
AGE REQUIREMENTS: The minimum age for renting a car is 23 years and the maximum is 75 years. Customers under the age of 23 or over 75 can rent at a cost of 300 euros which you return with the delivery of the vehicle.
DRIVING LICENSE: The driver must hold a license for at least 3 years. The driving license to be Greek, European (for the EU countries) or international (for countries outside the EU)
FULL INSURANCE (CDW): It covers tenants' liability for damage to the rental vehicle - provided the damage was not intentionally caused or mishandled by the vehicle with an excess of 300€.
INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER LOSSES:
- When the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Where the vehicle is driven by an unauthorised person
- When the vehicle is driven off-road
- When the vehicle participates in speed races or does not meet the upper speed limits of the Road Traffic Code
- The vehicle is involved in illegal actions
- Where damage caused to the bottom of the vehicle, in the interior of the vehicle, in the windscreen, the mirrors
- The loss or destruction of the keys
- Damage to the car engine due to incorrect fuel
- Damage to tires, trays and wheels due to off-road driving
By signing the rental agreement. The tenant of the vehicle is responsible for paying the total amount of damage to the rental car.
- You have full insurance for accidents on the road network. For any accident on the road with any vehicle, even if you are at fault or if you are not at fault, you pay nothing and the insurance covers everything
- We do not hold a credit card or hold a deposit of any amount, you only state it in the rental contract. You have an excess amount for damages that you will cause alone during the parking time if you find at some point or in the bad treatment of the car mechanically or damage to the interior of the car such as dashboard, seats. You are responsible for them financially. The customer with his signature on the rental contract of our company, during the rental is responsible for any damage to the car by his fault (e.g. if it hits a wall, tree, mosque, wheels, interior, under frame) by paying the compensation of the amount of 300€. The car arrives on the day of delivery, the inspection, if there is no damage, you pay nothing.
- If the vehicle goes on a dirt road and has an accident there, the insurance does not cover it and the damage is paid by the renter who is entirely responsible
- If the car goes on the road to KAVO PARADISO or enters SALT LAKE the fine is 500 euros, plus the crane to transport the vehicle, plus any damage caused to the vehicle. The compensation is paid by the renter who is responsible for the vehicle.
- ROAD ASSISTANCE TRAVEL CHARGES: If the driver drives the vehicle off the official road network and the car comes to a standstill, the driver will be charged the cost of towing the vehicle by roadside assistance
- The car must be returned with the same amount of fuel delivered as stated in the contract. If the vehicle is not returned with the same fuel level. The renter will be charged the cost of refueling. No refunds are given for extra fuel in the tank
- For vehicles returned with a stained interior that is not cleaned with the common car wash, the driver will be charged 85.00 Euros for the biological cleaning of the car
- REMOVAL OF THE VEHICLE: The company has the right to terminate this contract without compensation whenever it is determined that the tenant is abusing the car
- EXPIRY OF CONTRACT: The company is entitled to remove the car from the hands of the tenant after the end of the lease term without notice
- Summonses and fines resulting from violations of the Road Traffic Code are fully borne by the lessee. The lessee also undertakes the payment of the management costs on a case-by-case basis
- COMPETENT AUTHORITY: You expressly agree that the Greek court and in fact of KOS is competent for the resolution of any disputes arising from this agreement. A copy of this was given to the tenant with the signature
- It is forbidden to transport the car outside the island.
